Recreational Programs
Our classes are open to the general public and structured so that members of all abilities are able to participate. We offer a variety of themed movement-based groups to support wellness and are led by individuals trained in that particular discipline. Current group classes offered include Boxing, Cheerleading/gymnastics & Creative dance/movement, and play. Our classes utilize small group settings and a high ratio of staff to ensure participants of all abilities are able to succeed. Groups are 60min in length and the rate is $100 per class. Move. Explore. Play is a creative movement class that provides a safe and playful environment for young people to imagine, explore and express themselves through different movement and dance forms. Each session provides young people with a person-centered approach and the opportunity to connect to others through movement. *Please note, this is a non-competitive dance class where formal dance training will be given. No dance background is required to participate. Just willing to move and have fun! Our groups are facilitated by individuals trained in youth development, dance, and movement.

Box n Fit is a class that utilizes boxing and fitness as a medium to promote health and wellness. Our young people are able to learn strategies and approaches to support self-esteem and self-control. We incorporate core punching techniques, proper body mechanics, sequencing and rhythm, and proper boxing techniques. With a person-centered approach, this is a fun opportunity for young people of all ages, bodies, and abilities to develop coordination, core strength, balance, and endurance. *This is a no-contact and non-competitive program. Our groups are facilitated by individuals trained in youth development, boxing & fitness.
Let’s Cheer is a cheerleading & gymnastics class that incorporates basic cheer and tumbling techniques to individuals to develop and enhance trust-building skills, teamwork, body awareness, and self-confidence. We will teach cheerleading and tumbling fundamentals in motions, jumps, choreography, and motivational cheers! Our young people engage in activities to support coordination, core strength, balance, and increased body awareness. Come cheer with us, we are rooting for you! Our groups are led by a certified Cheerleading Coach, trained professionals with dance/gymnastics experience and youth development.

Sport-topia is a fun sports-based program that allows young people to learn and share their favorite sports! They’ll get the opportunity to spend time with peers and learn the rules of sports games they love, build teamwork and set team goals. Our players will practice maintaining positive peer relationships, team sportsmanship, practice winning and losing and turn-taking skills. Do you have a sports fanatic at home? Then this is the perfect group for your young person: Let’s play!
Play Yard Fun is a program that utilizes schoolyard games to create a safe and playful environment for young people to learn. Activities are tailored to meet the developmental level of the group members and build on their strengths through purposeful play. Each week our young people will have the opportunity to learn and practice creating and maintaining meaningful relationships, handling winning and losing, teamwork, and waiting for a turn. Through child initiated play and structured activities our young people are able to develop and communication and engagement with peers. This program can be useful for our young people to learn strategies and approaches to peer difficulties faced in the outside school and play yards.
